THE POLICE REUNITED ALL THIS WEEKEND ON VH1 CLASSIC:
Press Release / The Police have reunited and it feels so good! In honor of this breaking news, VH1 Classic will re-broadcast the live rehearsals held by The Police at The Whisky A Go-Go in West Hollywood, CA. Original members Sting, Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers announced details of their long-rumored summer reunion tour that is slated to kick-off on May 28 in Vancouver. In addition to the announcement the group performed four of their hits including Can't Stand Losing You, Message in a Bottle, When The World is Running Down, You Make the Best of What's Still and Roxanne. The Police Reunion Rehearsal Announcement will air on VH1 Classic on Saturday, February 17 at 200 PM and Sunday, February 18 at 7:00 PM.
Prior to announcing their reunion tour, The Police reunited at the 49th Annual Grammy Awards for their first live performance since their induction in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003.
To add to the excitement of The Police reunion, VH1 Classic will air BBC Crown Jewels The Police on Sunday, February 18 at 600 PM. The episode is a classic performance, shot in 1979. BBC Crown Jewels Sting will air throughout the weekend including Friday, February 16 at 300 PM and 1100 PM; Saturday, February 17 at 100 PM, and on Sunday, February 18 at 800 PM.
