Christina Aguilera collapsed backstage before a show in Melbourne on Friday. She went on with the show like a pro, but has cancelled her weekend shows. The word is that it has nothing to due with her pregnancy.
Entertainment Wise:
Pregnant Christina Aguilera has been forced to postpone two concerts after she was taken ill during the Australian leg of her world tour.
Christina reportedly collapsed backstage during a Melbourne show on Friday but carried on with the gig - despite suffering breathing difficulties.
However the pop-star was later forced to cancel performances on Saturday and Sunday.
The official explanation for the cancellations is that Christina has contracted a bug that’s been working it's way through her touring crew.
Concert promoters in Australia released the following statement: “It has become apparent that Christina will not be well enough to perform her last two Melbourne shows.
“Doctor’s have confirmed Christina has a viral upper respiratory tract infection with a high fever and abnormal coughing. They have prescribed complete bed rest for the next few days.
