Kelly Clarkson may have been forced to cancel her US tour because of poor ticket sales, but things are looking a lot more promising in the Australian market.
The singer, who wowed fans during her last concert tour here, is planning to return to Australia later this year, says a well-placed music insider.
S can reveal Clarkson will be here for a promotional tour in September, but is planning to announce a full range of tour dates for February or March next year. She is being wooed to tour by local promoter Andrew McManus.
The singer's new album, My December, entered the Australian charts at No. 4 and is still sitting within the Top 10.
Clarkson, who is considered the most globally recognised winner of American Idol, is still hot property within record label Sony BMG because of the strength of her album sales.
