Leonard Nimoy has confirmed his returning as Mr Spock for the new Star Trek movie.
The 76-year-old is coming out of retirement to play the iconic Vulcan in Star Trek XI, joking, “People have been asking me why I’m doing this movie. I think the answer is obvious. We have a great director and a wonderful script. It was logical.”
The new JJ Abrams picture will feature Spock and Captain Kirk returning to their younger selves, with the young Spock played by newcomer Zachary Quinto, reports The Sun.
