On first thought, I don't think of Dokken and Journey as similar bands. But the news that Jeff Scott Soto is adding his powerful voice to the next Dokken CD is a great move.....Melodic Rock:
Jeff Scott Soto was in the studio this week with Don Dokken layering backing vocals for the upcoming Dokken album. Don wanted a richer texture to the backgrounds on these new songs so brought Jeff in to sing on 6 songs. Jeff says "The album really hits back home with the classic Dokken sound, if you've been waiting for them to return to 'Tooth And Nail' or Under 'Lock And Key', you're really gonna be pleased with this one!!". A release is hoped for November.
