“My new single ‘Boyshorts’ celebrates being a young sexy woman who knows what she wants and is not afraid to go after her man. I suppose the new track is a bit more daring and sassy for me, but hey, that makes it fun!” explains Lauren Hildebrandt. “Working on this new single with The Senate was probably the best experience I have yet to have in the studio. I love the new vibe so much I recorded my entire debut album with them. We just clicked and worked magic together!”
“Boyshorts” is Hildebrandt’s first single release from her forthcoming debut album “Not Really a Waitress,” released on Red Wallet Records. The single will be accompanied by a spectacular music video directed by Andrew Will, set to debut beginning of March. The “Boyshorts” track is also supported with a variety of radical club mixes by Future Freakz, Electric Pulse, Aaron Paetsche, Majik Boys, DJ Mojag and Bit Error, which are currently available for purchase at Perfectbeat.com. The full album drops mid-March 2009 and features five tracks co-written by Lauren Hildebrandt herself.
