Over the past year or so, I've become friendly with Rita Wilson. Rita is a genuine, loving person who has such a caring soul. It's been fun promoting her wonderful charities, her great TV appearances and her fantastic album!
Recently, I reached out to all my friends and asked for donations to my Carroll Center for the Blind fundraiser. Rita and her husband Tom Hanks sent a generous check to the Carroll Center and I am so grateful! Rita and Tom said: “We are proud to support such a great cause like The Carroll Center that helps so many inspiring people, with blindness!”.
To have supporters like Tom & Rita for such a wonderful cause close to my heart is fantastic! I can't thank them enough!
